Fly Fishing Film Tour 2016

Fishing, travel and storytelling. Three things in life that have driven the narrative in both my career and personal life, and the three things that drew me in to the Fly Fishing Film Tour.

Filming and fishing in Montana.

This year marks F3T’s 10th year anniversary, and 6 years in Canada and year after year the quality of our content seems to get better and better and our reach continues to grow. In particular, we’re growing north of the border because we here at F3t Canada have been actively promoting to and engaging not just the hardcore fly fishers but the angling community at large. We believe we’ve been able to take this approach because Canadians are open-minded, adventurous and we love to explore, so no matter if you’re a seasoned fly tier and angler, or simply an outdoors lovers looking for some inspiration, the film tour has what you’re looking for.

The 2016 tour showcase’s films that take place in Patagonia, Bolivia, Virginia, Argentina, Seychelles, Zambia, Montana, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. This year’s Stonefly, our in house produced magazine, keeps within that theme of travel, featuring a ton of rad fishing photos and interesting locales that will surely get your wanderlust spirit ignited and inspired.

My hope is that you sit back, relax, take in all that our films and magazine have to offer – then get up, get out, and experience this wonderful world for yourself.

Sincerely,

Mariko Izumi
F3T Canada Executive Director.
